Getting married is one of the biggest days of your life. For both men and women, this momentous day marks a significant life event, new beginnings, and lifelong commitments. With such a big day looming, who doesn't want smooth skin, a wrinkle-free forehead, and stunning skin texture? The world of aesthetic treatments has expanded from red carpet movie premieres to church aisles worldwide, and Ireland is no exception. Wedding venues like the incredible Adare Manor have become the mecca for the ultimate wedding venues for both Irish and international brides and grooms. You have the perfect venue, now let's discuss how to achieve that drop-dead gorgeous wedding day aesthetic.
Are Aesthetic Treatments Just for Brides and Not Grooms?
One of the biggest misconceptions and preconceptions is that aesthetic treatments, like Botox, dermal fillers, and Profhilo, are just for women. With men now consuming more injectable treatments than ever, it's not just the brides and bridesmaids seeking smooth skin and fresh faces for their big wedding day. At Sisu Clinic, we do more male Botox than any clinic in Ireland. One of the main reasons for this is our preference for a softer effect; our male patients look fresher, less tired, and not frozen or totally different. We often describe male Botox, or "Mantox," as feeling like wearing a new suit. Our grooms look sharp, fresh, and confident.
How Many Weeks Before Your Wedding Should You Get Botox?
This is one of the most common questions our aesthetic doctors are asked during consultations. We urge people not to come in the week before your wedding and ask for Botox, especially if you're a newbie or first-timer. Typically, Botox takes a few days to kick in and will reach its full effect around two weeks later. We recommend that people who have had Botox before sync their next Botox treatment to about a month before their wedding day. This allows for a review at two weeks and then a little settling time. If you are new to the world of Botox, we recommend getting your first treatment about 9-12 months before your wedding day. The reason for this is simple: we want to ensure you like Botox and are happy with it; if not, it will be gone in three months. The flip side is that with some consistency, Botox gets better and better. Three to four cycles before your big day will mean any deep lines will have really softened, and your results will be optimized.
Where Is the Best Wedding Botox in Ireland?
With sixteen locations in Ireland, Sisu Clinic has a wide footprint to ensure you have convenient locations with expertly trained aesthetic doctors to guide you on your wedding Botox journey. If you're located in Dublin and thinking about Botox for your wedding, we have seven locations in the capital, making wedding Botox in Dublin a breeze.
What Botox to Avoid Before Your Wedding?
Botox can also be used in the chin and lip area, to increase lip volume by using a lip flip, and in the chin to soften the dimpling seen in some people. If you haven't had this before and are not used to the sometimes odd sensation that people can get at the beginning, then we tend to tell people who have not given enough sample and build-up time before their wedding to avoid this. Anything that interferes with a smile or how someone speaks can be a major problem for wedding photos and after-dinner speeches.
What Is the Price of Wedding Botox in Ireland?
Depending on the area and type of Botox treatment we do, for example, we do a lot of excessive sweating Botox for brides to stop sweat stains in the armpit area. One area of Botox is 170€; we typically recommend three areas of Botox, which is 300€, as it gives the softest and most natural balance to the face before your big wedding day.
