Nefertiti Neck Lift
Nefertiti Neck Lift
As we age, loss of collagen and elastin leads to slack, wrinkled, saggy skin. The neck is susceptible to such aging, especially in the area known as the platysmal bands - the two muscles that run vertically from the base of the neck. At SISU, our aesthetic doctors are experts in restoring youthfulness to the neck area with the use of Botox (anti-wrinkle) injections. We call this the Nefertiti Neck Lift.
What does a Nefertiti Neck Lift involve?
If your SISU physician has included a Nefertiti Neck Lift in your bespoke patient pathway, you will have been fully briefed and prepared for the treatment well in advance. Once situated in the treatment room, we ensure that your neck muscles are completely relaxed. Then, your SISU doctor makes targeted Botox injections at precise points along the lower jawline and down the lateral aspects of the neck. This produces a noticeably more defined jaw line, with balance and symmetry restored to the underlying muscles. Taken together, this combination of results creates a visible neck lift.
What are the post-treatment results of a Nefertiti Neck Lift?
Most patients see the full results of their treatment in 10 - 12 days. At the two week mark, all patients must return to SISU for a check-up with their doctor. At that point, the physician will assess the results and administer any 'top-up' injections that may be required to achieve peak results. Botox reaches its strongest effect at 14 days post-injection; from this point, the impact gradually gets more weak. On average, Nefertiti Neck Lift patients enjoy three to four months of desired results. The treatment can be repeated to avoid reversion to the wrinkled, lax state.
